Now you can advertise or apply for an animal companion online.

Each year, there are a staggering number of animals which are euthanased, since animal shelters are unable to cope with the growing numbers of animals. However, it is felt that opportunities to home animals have been missed, since there is no central agency working to connect people who are looking for animals with the homeless.

This site aims to:

1. advertise animals which need homes, on a nationwide basis
2. provide scanned-in pictures where possible
3. enable people looking for animals to adopt/foster on a temporary or permanent basis to select a beastie and apply for its adoption
   

The AACL has been inundated with dogs and cats of all sizes and varieties. Please phone them at the number listed below to enquire about a potential animal friend.

Please note: All animals are spayed/neutered, as part of the policy on national sterilisation. We believe that, although it is an infringement on the animals' right to procreate, it is a necessary evil to control the future numbers of homeless animals.
